                          COMMUNICATION PROTOCOLS

  Type:           Configuration

  Format:         AT [cmds] Bn [cmds]

  Description:    Selects the communication protocol for low-speed data
                  calls.

    Command                              Protocol

       B0         Modem will use ITU-T V.22 at 1200bps.

       B1         Modem will use Bell 212A at 1200bps.

       B2         Modem will only connect with V.22bis, V.22, or Bell
                  103.

       B3         Modem will only connect with V.22, or Bell 103.

       B4         Modem will only connect with Bell 103.

                            DISPLAY INFORMATION

  Type:          Immediate

  Format:        AT [cmds] In [cmds]

  Description:   Displays information requested about the modem.

    Command                              Function

       I0        Displays product identification code.

       I1        Displays ROM checksum.

       I2        Tests and displays ROM checksum result.

       I3        Displays firmware part number and revision.

       I4        Displays modem configuration.

       I5        Displays firmware date.

                   DISPLAY CONFIGURATION AND STATISTICS

  Description:         Displays the settings of all commands and
                       statistics about the current connection.

                            DSR AND CTS SIGNALS

  Type:                  Configuration

  Format:                AT [cmds] \Dn [cmds]

  Description:           Controls the behaviour of the DSR and CTS
                         signals.

        Command                              Function

          \D0            DSR and CTS forced high.

          \D1            CTS follows CD. If &C is not set to 1 then DSR
                         also follows CD, otherwise it follows OH.

          \D2            DSR and CTS follow CD.

                             ENQ/ACK PROTOCOL

  Type:          Configuration

  Description:   Selects the Hewlett-Packard ENQ/ACK protocol.

      \H0         ENQ/ACK protocol disabled.

      \H1         ENQ/ACK protocol enabled in terminal mode.

      \H2         ENQ/ACK protocol enabled in host mode.

                           EXTENDED RESULT CODES

  Description:     Selects error correction and compression extended
                   result codes.

       \V1         /REL extended result codes enabled.

                          FACTORY DEFAULT PROFILE

  Type:                  Immediate

  Format:                AT [cmds] &F [cmds]

  Description:           Returns the command settings to the values found
                         in the specified factory default profile.

        Command                              Function

          &F0            Resets commands to the standard factory profile.

          &F1            Resets commands to the MNP factory profile.

          &F2            Resets commands to the LAPM factory profile.
